Confronted with a large, flat parcel of land, we knew we had to create some interest. Using mixed patio materials, including porcelain tiles, artificial turf, and composite lumber (with sunken seating area), we achieved our goal. The large pool features a tanning ledge, slide and diving board. A glass fence protects the view to the water beyond the property.
The large pool house features a full service outdoor kitchen, dining and bar areas, a bathroom, and storage areas.
Initially, the backyard featured a pond with an overflow pipe from the well. This pond was algae filled, and didn't meet the standards of the house. We removed it, and piped the well overflow to a water feature, which now spills into a hidden underground drain system and creates a lovely sound of moving water.
